2024 Annual Meeting

October 17, 2024 by Audrey Muck 1 Comment

2024 ERA-NC Alliance Annual Meeting

On behalf of the ERA-NC Alliance, we deeply thank you for your support and advocacy for the Equal Rights Amendment.  We invite you to join us for our annual meeting on the status of the Amendment and Alliance activities in 2024, as well as elections of officers for 2025-2026.

Saturday, November 16
10 A.M. – 1 P.M.
Parkway United Church of Christ
1465 Irving St, Winston-Salem, NC 27103

It will be great to gather once again in person in Winston-Salem. Click here for a map. Our meeting will once again have a catered lunch. For those unable to join us in person, we will miss you but we will live stream the meeting on YouTube.

It’s now been four years since the ERA was fully ratified by the required 38 states, despite the fact that we have not had a vote on the ERA in North Carolina.  We continue to wait for the Biden/Harris administration to publish the ERA in the Federal Register as the 28th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Until then, our work is not finished.
