Annual Meeting and
10th Anniversary Luncheon
Saturday, Nov. 14 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Help us celebrate ten years of advocacy for Equal Rights for All Y’all!
Our Annual Meeting and 10th Anniversary Luncheon will be in person this year at the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum in Gibsonville. This is actually one of the locations to explore as part of the new Girl Scouts Equality Trailblazers project!
It’s amazing that the ERA-NC Alliance has been advocating for Constitutional equality in North Carolina for ten years. While we haven’t crossed the finish line yet, we’ve raised awareness about the need for the Equal Rights Amendment from Asheville to Wilmington, and most importantly, on Jones St. in Raleigh! Gaining Constitutional equality regardless of gender has never been so close at hand. While we await an equality-friendly General Assembly, we’ve leaned into the American Bar Association’s opinion that the ERA is the 28th Amendment.
Join us as we celebrate our advocacy over the past decade and look forward to seeing the Amendment published in the U.S. Constitution and supporting its implementation here in North Carolina in the coming years.
Registration details are coming soon, so mark your calendar!
This year, the Alliance will elect members of the executive council and the board of directors. If you are interested in joining our leadership, we encourage you to visit this page to learn more and to apply. Serving on the executive council or board is a great way to hone your leadership skills, work on meaningful change, and develop lasting friendships.
Do you have photos from the Alliance tucked away in a photo album or digital folder?
We want to include them in our 10-year anniversary slide show!
Please reach out here to make the arrangements!
